Privacy & cookies
How Method7 handles your information, in plain English. Last updated August 2026.
Who we are
Method7 is a website studio run by Simon Tregunna, based at 110 Milford Hill, Salisbury SP1 2QL. If you have any questions about your data, email info@method7.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
When you make an enquiry. If you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and your message. We use this only to reply and to discuss your project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (which pages they visit, roughly where they are, what device they use), so we can improve it. This is optional and only runs after you accept in the cookie banner. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
The site sets no non-essential cookies until you accept. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) to measure visits. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business: Google (analytics), and our email and hosting providers to receive and store enquiries. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to help with your project and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email info@method7.co.uk and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
