Software · Salisbury, UK

Software built around how the work actually happens.

The opportunity is often already there: in a process that takes too much work, information the business isn't using, or an idea that existing software doesn't quite fit.

I understand how it works today. Together, we define what better looks like. Then I build the software that gets us there.

Process

Turn the process into software

Paperwork, spreadsheets and manual processes often contain years of business knowledge. The opportunity is to capture that knowledge in software.

I look at how the work actually happens: what gets recorded, what decisions are made, what people need to know and what needs to happen next. That becomes the basis of the system.

Data

Put your data to work

Businesses create information everywhere. The useful bit is being able to connect it and understand what it is telling you.

I build systems that bring information together so it can be searched, compared and acted on. That might mean a dashboard, an integration, automation or software using AI to find patterns and surface what matters.

Custom software

Build what doesn't exist

Some ideas and business problems simply don't have an off-the-shelf answer.

I build software around them: internal systems, integrations, web applications, mobile products and the infrastructure behind them.

Sometimes that means starting with an idea. Sometimes it means replacing a workaround, connecting existing systems or taking software that already works and making it capable of doing more.

In practice

Different problems. Different software.

  • The process became the software.

A paper HACCP process became a live production system that captures food-safety and traceability records as the work happens, while guiding what happens next.

  • Existing software moved forward.

A production AML and KYC platform was modernised without disrupting the businesses already relying on it.

  • The data became actionable.

M7SEO brings search, site and competitor data together, identifies what matters and can prepare the work needed to act on it.

How it works

From problem to software

  1. Understand how it works today

You bring the business knowledge. I bring the engineering. We start by understanding the process, the information involved and what you want to change.

  2. Define what better looks like

Together, we work out what the software needs to do, what should stay as it is and where the useful opportunities are.

  3. Build it

I turn that into working software, building and testing it in visible increments so you can see the solution taking shape.

Websites

Sometimes the answer is a website

I build websites, shops and landing pages too. For some businesses, that's exactly the software they need: somewhere fast, accessible and easy to find that does its job properly.
